Oilers GM Stan Bowman Agrees with Connor McDavid: Team Was ‘Average’ This Season
Edmonton Oilers GM Stan Bowman has echoed captain Connor McDavid’s assessment that the team was “average” throughout much of the recently concluded season. This admission comes after the Oilers were eliminated from the playoffs by the Anaheim Ducks, falling short of a third straight Stanley Cup Final appearance. The future of the team, and McDavid’s long-term commitment, now hang in the balance.
