Stone Sets Franchise Record as Golden Knights Dominate Mammoth in Playoff Opener
The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Utah Mammoth 4-2 in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series, taking a 1-0 series lead. Mark Stone set a new franchise record for most postseason goals with his 37th, and Carter Hart made 31 saves in the win.
Vegas’s strong third-period performance, fueled by Stone’s record-breaking goal and contributions from Dowd and Barbashev, secured the victory.
