Crochet Expresses Red Sox Frustration: ‘Can’t Be Out of Playoffs in April’
Boston Red Sox pitcher Garrett Crochet expressed significant frustration after a poor outing against the Detroit Tigers, highlighting the team’s early-season struggles. With a 7.88 ERA, Crochet acknowledged the urgency, stating the team cannot afford to be out of playoff contention in April.
His candid comments reflect a broader issue of inconsistency for the Red Sox, who currently sit at 8-13. The team faces pressure to improve and avoid an early-season definition of their campaign.
