Mason Miller’s Historic Shutout Streak: Padres Reliever Rewriting Record Books
San Diego Padres reliever Mason Miller has achieved a historic milestone, extending his scoreless innings streak to 30 2/3, a mark not seen in 120 years for a pitcher’s early-season performance.
Miller’s dominance includes a 76.7% strikeout rate, the highest in MLB over the last 120 seasons through a pitcher’s first nine appearances. The Padres also continued their winning ways, securing their eighth straight victory.
