Perkins Trolls Hornets’ Knueppel After Disappointing Play-In Performance Fuels Flagg’s ROTY Surge
Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel struggled in the Play-In Tournament against the Miami Heat, shooting poorly and drawing criticism from NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins. This performance has bolstered Cooper Flagg’s chances of winning the Rookie of the Year award, as Flagg finished the regular season strong.
Knueppel still has an opportunity to prove himself in the next Play-In game, but his recent slump has raised concerns about his ability to perform under pressure.
