Jets Urged to Prioritize Future Over Head Coach Aaron Glenn with No. 2 NFL Draft Pick
Colin Cowherd is advising the New York Jets to ignore their head coach Aaron Glenn’s scheme preferences when making the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft. He argues that Glenn’s job security is low, and the Jets should instead draft the best pure talent available to ensure long-term roster stability.
The recommendation favors drafting a player like edge rusher David Bailey, who offers a plug-and-play skillset adaptable to any coaching staff, over a more specialized player like Arvell Reese who is tailored to Glenn’s current system.
